MQ-3 Alcohol Gas Sensor
₱75.00
The MQ-3 Alcohol Gas Sensor is specifically designed for the detection of alcohol vapor concentration in the air. It utilizes a tin dioxide (SnO2) semiconductor material as its sensitive layer. When alcohol vapor is present, it gets absorbed onto the sensor's surface, causing a decrease in the sensor's electrical resistance. The change in resistance is then translated into an analog voltage output, which is proportional to the concentration of alcohol vapor. This sensor is particularly useful in applications where monitoring alcohol levels is important, such as breathalyzers and industrial safety monitoring in environments where alcohol solvents might be present.
